The girl is a farmers daughter and the boy is a child prodigy studying to become a doctor at the age of 18. The two met at a barn dance that the school threw, and they instantly fell in love. So every day the girl would walk the boy to school before she had to be home to feed the cattle and get eggs from the chickens. She would go to school sometimes, but her father was old and needed help around the farm now that the girl’s older brothers were in NY and her mother was so very ill.
One day she got tired of walking on the side walk next to her beloved, so she started walking on a two foot tall wall. The wall slowly grew as they walked and it finally stopped growing at a corner. But the wall was already taller then the boy. At that little corner is where the two had to say good-bye for the day. But just before the boy left, the girl called for him from the top of the wall, he looked up, and she kissed him. He was surprised at first, but grew to love it.
I think this is my favorite! It's so cute! I love it!!!!! ^_^
