You may already know this, but I'm in a play! I am Yenchna, in Neil Simon's comedy FOOLS. Basically, I'm a fat old lady who sells stuff. And I'm really stupid.

The whole town is stupid actually. It's our curse. It can only be broken if Sophia Zubritsky is successfully educated... or if she marries that evil Count Gregor who lives on the hill! Will the curse ever be broken? You'll have to come see it to find out.

Last weekend in April and first two weekend's in May. ;)

Also, I love this video. I love all Avatar fan videos, no matter how bad the quality, but Zuko WITH Lion King? Perfect. Just perfect.

Tonight Imma fight

"'Puck, I forbid this,' Granny said.

Puck ignored her command. 'Old lady, if I die I'd like you to do one small thing for me. I want you to build a one-hundred acre museum dedicated to my memory. Bronze my clothing and possessions. Have at least three hundred marble statues erected of me in my most dashing poses. One of these statues should stand at least one hundred feet tall and greet ships as they float down the Hudson River. One of the fourteen wings of the museum should have an amusement park with the world's fastest roller coaster inside. None of these rides should be equipped with safety devices. You can license some of the space to fast-food restaurants and ice-cream parlors but nothing should be healthy or nutritious. The gift shop should sell stuffed Puck dolls packed with broken glass and asbestos. There's a more detailed list in my room.'

That is what I read this morning. I was wholeheartedly amused.

I just love it. And I love him. Puck is certainly one of the more genius characters that have ever been invented...

This is definitely going to be my dying wish. And now that I have a dying wish and a last word ("HONOR!!") I think I'm properly prepared to kick the bucket. Not that I plan to any time soon, but you can't be too safe, right? ;)

The Way You Move Ain't Fair, Y'know

I drew this in honor of Valentine's Day. REALLY wanted to ink it and put a little color on, but I ran out of time. You see, I was actually drawing two things to show you today, and divided my time equally (mostly) between the projects. But before I knew it, it was late afternoon on the 14th and the girl in my other picture still didn't have a head! Drat. So this is all you're getting today.

While I was drawing this, I was a little confused about guitar anatomy* so I went to google to see what was going on with this instrument. You know what I discovered? I drew my man holding the guitar backwards. Drat again.

But what would my pictures be without an obviously horrible and uncorrectable mistake. :)

Come Fly With Me

I hate most prom dresses. I love other kinds of dresses, but not prom. And the fact that they're SO expensive makes me hate them more.

So for mormon prom this year, I'll probably just end up wearing something my mom makes for me. She's awesome and would actually do that. But if I had $300 extra dollars I would save my mom the trouble and totally get this:

Ready for a list of random thoughts? I thought so!

• I miss warmth. Spring cannot come fast enough.
  
• "The Next Ten Minutes" from The Last Five Years is possibly the cutest song ever. Obsessed? Yes ma'am.
• Still love Legally Blonde but, thank goodness, listening to the aforementioned song drove it out of my head. And that's completely fine by me. LB was in my head for too long...
• While I was babysitting today, one of the girls told me that she didn't like me because "your nose is too big." Well, thanks kiddo...
• Cookies that are only made from cake mix, butter and eggs are the bee's knees.
• I wish I could wear bright red lipstick and get away with it. Something about teenagers wearing red lipstick causes raised eyebrows in today's society, so I usually stay with bright pink. But I wish I could go red.
• Food tastes much better when I wear an apron while I make it.
• I waste so much time. My mom is making me log everything I do, hour by hour. I'm scared of what I'll discover, but at least I can count this for Personal Progress. (Knowledge #2)
• I really want to watch Singing in the Rain. It's been far too long since I've seen that movie.
• Steak 'n' Shake milkshakes are really good. They are also a thousand calories.
• Latin's super fun, y'all. I forgot how much I loved it.
• If I don't do a show soon, I'll explode. I need something, preferably musical. Soon.
• I looked at some old sketches from about a year ago. The progress I've made is awesome. I've gotten so much better. Maybe my hours of drawing daily isn't a waste...
• Pokemon is the best. I forgot that fact until this afternoon when I watched Pokemon 4Ever. It was so great.
• I need to learn to drive. Like seriously.
• "We just ARE, Winnie. Stuck... like ROCKS!" Ahhh Tuck Everlasting. Good movie. Great quote. It's one of those quotes that you could really use in any situation. Like ANY situation.
  
• I really don't understand people who can write blog posts that only consist of one sentence. I truly don't.
